Simon McCarty - Economist
Simon McCarty holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Development Studies, Politics, and International Relations from the University of Melbourne. His academic background has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of global economics and international relations.
Prior to his current role, Simon gained valuable experience as an Administrative Assistant at the Australian Embassy in Vietnam, where he honed his organizational skills and developed a keen awareness of diplomatic processes. Additionally, he served as an intern at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a leading international law firm, further expanding his knowledge of legal and corporate environments.
Currently, Simon serves as an Economist at Mekong Economics. His responsibilities include proofreading reports, preparing work plans, and providing analytical insights to drive informed decision-making.
