Project Description:

Survey of 150,000 university graduates to compare recent graduate employment with the labor market. Aggregated the information into a system-wide national report to inform higher education management agencies and curricula reform.

World Bank & DFID - Advisory Services for Project Monitoring and Evaluation – Northern Mountains Poverty Reduction Project - 2005

Project Description:

Provided advisory services for monitoring and evaluation of the project. Assisted the coordination, design and overall implementation of the project M&E system during the 5-year life span of the project.

Finnish Embassy in Hanoi - Research on Political Dialogue and Consultation in Vietnam - 2005

Project Description:

Development of an analytical framework for the political economy of Vietnam. An index to measure implementation of grassroots democracy in Vietnam was also developed.

GTZ - Tam Dao Rural Household Economic Baseline Survey - 2005

Project Description:

Baseline survey to collect qualitative and quantitative data and information about the present status of the selected community. Analyzed the causal relationship between the National Park and Buffer Zone. Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang provinces.

AusAid ASEAN/ Australia Development Cooperation Program - Enhancing ASEAN Minerals Trade and Investment - 2005

Project Description:

MKE analysed the public and private sectors in Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Lao PDR and Cambodia; compiled country reports on investment and trade in minerals in the five countries; reviewed institutional and regulatory arrangements affecting investment in ASEAN; identified potential sources of investment; assessed the potential for regional cooperation in minerals policy development; and explored policy implications of the research.

Royal Danish Embassy in Hanoi - Wages for Domestic Consultants and Consulting Company Capacities in Vietnam - 2005

Project Description:

Researched the appropriate rates for Vietnamese consultants in Hanoi working for foreign donors and developed a framework to estimate consultant wages into the future. Surveyed capacity of private consulting companies in Hanoi.
